DEREK SCHOENROCK

A true Texan at heart, Derek grew up around the great city of Dallas, where “the stars at night, are big and bright”. He is a 2011 graduate of Texas Woman’s University, where his studies included both Business and History. After graduation, Derek went into restaurant management before finding his passion in property management. He joins the Acorn + Oak team with experience in both brokerage and multifamily property management. Derek is an avid sports fan for his hometown teams, the Dallas Cowboys and the Dallas Mavericks, as well as those Tar Heels since moving to Chapel Hill with his wife, Sarah. In his free time, he enjoys training for half marathons, trying out local Mexican food, and long hikes with his wife, daughter and two dogs, Sherlock and Madison.
