Katie’s interest in real estate was piqued early in life when she was forced to tag along to open houses with her parents several weekends a year. She found herself pouring over the floor plans in the real estate magazines. Her dream was to be an architect, but a job as an assistant to a successful local realtor while she was in college at NC State altered her course and she eventually found her way to property management. An Orange County native, she knows the local neighborhoods intimately, and loves introducing those new to the area to all the great things her hometown has to offer. Katie prides herself on properly educating her clients on both the rental process and the local market – empowering them to confidently traverse the world of investment property ownership. In her free time, she loves to swim, attempts to garden, takes long strolls in Duke Forest with her dog Kodi, and spoils her nephews and niece as much as possible.
